Proud Momma :)

Alright well this week has been so much fun! She has got to take her first bath in the tub which she loves for the most part except being cold. She absolutely loves her head to be rubbed and hair to be dried! We made her little hand sculptures out of clay and I baked them. Also we had a doctors appointment Thursday and the checkup went very well! She is now up past her birth weight. She weighs 7lbs and 11oz and is measuring 20 inches long! So that means no more waking her in the night to eat. I just let her wake up on her own :) Well sorta of I really don't want her to go past 5 or 6 hours without eating. Last night I actually got a solid 5 1/2 hours of sleep uninterrupted and I still woke her up then to eat!! After a feeding which takes about 30 minutes we got another 4 hours. I did not crawl out of bed this morning until almost 10am...and my brother said those days were over for me now, ha! ;) Kate is a wonderful baby and she is so much fun! Her daddy soaks up every minute with her when he is at home. They have taken lots of naps together and have read lots of books together. She loves for us to read to her. She is staying awake alot more during the day now and is so alert. I don't think it will be much longer before she is really smiling and cooing at us. She is holding her head up very well and is already acting like she doesn't want to miss anything.
Hopefully in about another 3 weeks or so about the time she is 6 weeks old we can start to get out and around. Right now we just don't want to take a chance of her or me getting sick. We are just trying to be extra cautious. So hopefully VERY soon everyone will have a chance to meet this precious "Little" girl the that the Lord has blessed us with :>

Well it has been a wonderful week! I have had a chance to spend some time with some wonderful friends and family. Also I was released to drive on Wednesday and so my mom came over Thursday to spend the day with me and Kate. I ran to Walmart to pick up a few things. It had been over 2 weeks since I had even driven and don't worry I didn't Kate to Walmart she stayed with her nana :). Friday and Saturday are Drew's days off so we spent some time together this weekend. Friday night we went out to eat and then rented a movie and Saturday we spent alot of the day together and saw some family. That night Drew surprised me with one of my favorite desserts and another movie. It was his homemade version of "The Molten" from Chili's and it was YUMMY! I told him however I shouldn't be eating this at 9:15 at night, haha. He made me feel really good though and wanted me to enjoy every bite of it and I did!! I received the rest of Kate's 1 week pictures this week as well and they are all so good! Jennifer did an awesome job and I will try to upload some on here so that you can see just how good they are. 
We have a doctor's appointment on Thursday and I can't wait to see how much Kate is weighing now. She is doing really well with her sleeping in the night. I wake her up about every 4 hours to eat and she is very content and I think would sleep about 5 or 6 hours at a time if I let her but I can't just yet not until she is back up to her birth weight anyway. Miss Kate is just growing more and more each day and I can't believe she is almost 3 weeks old?! Time is passing so quickly and that is what everyone told me would happen. However, I am looking forward getting back into the swing of things and letting everyone meet little Kate. I miss church but and so glad we have the opportunity to watch it online. What a blessing!! Alright well off to beginning another awesome week with my wonderful "Little" family! I will certainly update you guys after our doctor's appointment until then have a blessed week!

IT'S SNOWING

Well this weather is so funny...it is snowing like crazy! It is definitely beautiful!! Kate is now experiencing her first snow and she is fast asleep in her swing. Ok so I just wanted to put some more pictures on here and let everyone know that doesn't already about the beautiful snow...it feels like we are in the middle of  snow globe!!
