2 months and counting...

Well it has been about a month since I have been on here to update you guys but Kate is now 9 weeks old. It is so crazy how fast time is passing. Let's see what all has happened over the past month?
First Sunday to go to church!

We have been attending church on Sunday mornings and evenings and she does wonderful! It is so much fun being able to take her out. We go on walks at least 3 times a week if the weather permits. I am really enjoying this wonderful weather!
It is also official I am now jobless...I get to stay at home with my beautiful baby girl! This has been something I have wanted since I was young. My heart desires to spend all the time I can with my kids so I can raise them and train them in His word. We have an amazing God because He worked it out so I would be able to. I know I am so blessed because I know there are many more moms that would love to stay home but aren't as fortunate.

It has now been over a year since we have been to Israel. I would have never thought we would have had a baby now if you would have asked me this time last year but the Lord is so awesome and has His plan for our lives. Now we wonder what we ever did without her?! She definitely keeps us busy but it is amazing. I love watching her grow everyday. She is really talking all the time now. When she notices no one is talking to her she gets really loud for a few minutes and if no one comes to talk to her she will let you know. She is definitely going to be a talker..I didn't see that one coming ;)lol. Also her cry is no longer the sound of a newborn, haha, it is very loud :). Another thing we are discovering as more of her personality comes out is that as she gets sleepy she loves to play with her hair. Imagine that she loves the hair dyer and loves to play with her hair...I knew she took after me somewhere?!

The last weekend of February we had the chance to see my oldest brother, sister-in-law, and nephews. I am so glad they were able to come down and see their new nieces. My sister-n-law's brother also had a little girl named Rozlyn that was born exactly a month before Kate. We had a surprise party for my brother over the weekend and Kate and Rozlyn got to meet :). Dylan couldn't get over how tiny Kate was and let me say she loved to talk to Paula, my sister-in-law. You can't help but to smile as she smiles at you because she just glows! Her little eyes just light up and it is SO precious!

Also Kate sleeps very well at night. The most she wakes up is once and I can get a solid 5 to 6 hours of sleep a night. I am so thankful for that because my body needs sleep, haha! However, I can say this and that is no matter what time it is or what I am doing when I actually pick her up and get to hold her there is nothing like it. It melts my heart when she greets you with a smile as you come in to tell her good morning! She is sleeping in her bed in her bedroom and she has been since she was about 3 or 4 weeks old. We really have been blessed with an amazing little girl!

In the mean time we are awaiting the arrival our new little niece baby Jessica. My brother Matt and his wife are expecting their 2nd and she is due 3/18. She will be here very soon. I am looking forward to passing clothes down to her from Kate. I already shipped the first box of newborn clothes today. Kate is now out of newborn. She is way to tall for them and 0-3 fit her perfectly for a few weeks anyway. I know it won't be long before she is in 3-6 though.
Well that is about it for now. I have quite a few pictures to upload so you can see just how much she is growing...until next time much love!!
