Wow 10 months!

Ok so I am really behind on the 10 month, but it has been SO busy! We did lots of things in October. Kate had her well visit on the 18th and it went great. At the time she weighed 18lbs 6oz but I am sure she is past 19lbs now. She is getting so big not just physically but just in what she is understanding and doing. We are now in the process of weaning and she is starting to drink whole milk along with eating a couple of yogurts to make sure she gets the amount of milk she is suppose to get which is around 20oz a day in liquid or solid form. This girl LOVES food and getting to taste all kinds of new things. She is no longer eating baby food and has completely moved onto table food. We can no longer sneak ANY thing without her wanting whatever it is that we are eating. So it has definitely made me consider what I am putting into my mouth.
Kate has made a new friend over the past month. I started keeping another little girl that is two and half months younger than her and she is really loving it! It has been really good for all us. She is learning how to share mommy and toys. We went to the state fair this month on Texas and Oklahoma game day, never again! We had fun but there were SOOOO many people. I wore a purple shirt and stood out like a sore thumb, haha. I actually had an officer comment on it. :) Kate had a blast and we took lots of pictures.
We also went to the pumpkin festival downtown and I had Kate in an orange and black pumpkin outfit and man, that was a lot of orange, especially with her hair! I gotta say I am partial, but I think she is adorable :). We also had hallelujah night on Halloween at the church. Kate went as a lobster and she was so cute! She has started making so many fun and new noises. She has been clicking her tongue and making some other fun sounds with her tongue. She is full of personality :p. Another thing I have noticed her doing is walking/standing on her tippy toes. She hasn't quite learned how to pull up but she can get to about her knees with pulling up on something. Kate is also cruising right along furniture and everything else she can balance herself on with being brave a letting go and standing for a few seconds. I think trying to take a few steps without holding on to things is in the near future :)
So now we are at my brother's in Tennessee and we have been here since the 3rd and will be here until the 14th which is why this post is a tad late. We had my parents 40th anniversary party which I will talk about in the next blog. This post is short and there will be pictures to come soon also if I think of new things I'll add to the picture post:) p.s. Sorry if there is punctuation errors because I have done this on the iPad
